DEPOSIT /SECURITY BOND
A refundable deposit/bond of $200 is payable for all bookings along with the submission of a completed booking form which must be received by the booking agent within 7 days of the booking enquiry. The bond will be refunded in full after the house has been thoroughly checked and provided there are no damages or excess cleaning required. A breach of any of the “Booking Conditions” may result in forfeiture of the bond. Additional costs will be charged to the tenants should the $200 bond be insufficient.
FINAL PAYMENT
Full and final payment is required at least 28 days prior to the commencement of the holiday. If the outstanding balance has not been received by the due date the booking agent reserves the right to cancel the booking and the guest will forfeit the $200 deposit/security bond. Please inform the booking agent of your method of payment.
UNDERAGE GUESTS
We do not accommodate groups of unaccompanied minors or school- leavers.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
The number of guests occupying the property for the duration of the appointed dates must not exceed the number specified on the booking form. Should there be any changes to the number of guests the booking agent MUST be informed.
DOGS & PETS
Most property owners will NOT allow for guests to bring pets to their holiday homes. Where an owner may allow pets, written permission must be obtained from the booking agent.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES
Unless arranged in advance with the booking agent, CHECK IN TIME is 2pm and CHECK OUT TIME is 10.30am. Requests for varying times will be accommodated where possible.
KEY COLLECTION
Keys will be made available upon arrival at the holiday home as has been arranged with the booking agent.
LINEN & TOWELS
Please bring your own linen & towels. Blankets, doonas & pillows are generally supplied.
UNUSED SERVICES
Where the client chooses to cut short their stay a refund is not available for any unused portion of the booking.
CLEANING
Cleaning is not included in the rental. Tenants must do this before vacating. This would include wash and put away all dishes, remove foodstuffs from the fridge & clean it out, clean the stove/oven thoroughly, clean all wet areas (bathroom, toilet, laundry), sweep, vacuum & wash the floors. Please place all rubbish in the bin & place bin on the verge. When possible put the bin out on Tuesday night. Please leave the property ready for the next guests. Cleaning can be arranged through the booking agent prior to arrival for minimum of 2 hrs @ $35 per hr. Any excess cleaning will be deducted from the deposit/security bond. Please make note of reading carefully the GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY.
GUESTS RESPONSIBILTY
Guests are expected to look after and take good care of the property entrusted to them, this including all furnishings and equipment and to observe the “NO SMOKING INSIDE” requirement for the duration of the holiday. Any faults, damages or breakages MUST BE REPORTED to the Booking Agent. Guests will be liable for any breakages or damages caused to the property during the guests holiday occupation and ALL costs of repair and replacement shall be “PAYABLE UPON DEMAND” to the Booking Agent. It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked and that the property is left clean and tidy as specified in item CLEANING (read carefully!). Any excess cleaning to be done after the final inspection by the Booking Agent will be done at $35 per hr and the guest will be charged accordingly.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment of a deposit/ security bond of $200 and completion of the booking form will confirm you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
